Record group 78-38 consists of files of the director of the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division. Contains budget papers with program descriptions, analyses of operations, funding recommendations, supportative statistics, expenditure projections, appropriation needs and justifications; minutes of the 10-member Marine Safety Advisory Council dealing with ways to curb water accidents; and a personnel manual which explains rights and responsibilities of employees.
